SMITH, Circuit Judge.
Charles E. Winston was convicted by a jury of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine base (“crack cocaine”), in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 846, 841(a)(1), and 841(b)(1)(a). The district court 1 sentenced Winston to 262 months’ imprisonment and ordered the entire sentence to run consecutively to the state murder sentence Winston was serving in Kansas.
