By Indictment No. 80-00004-01 the defendant was charged with the crimes of robbery in the third degree and grand larceny in the second degree (two counts). On May 30, 1980, the defendant appeared before this court, withdrew her previously entered plea of not guilty and entered a plea of guilty to robbery in the third degree, in full satisfaction of the indictment. The matter was thereafter adjourned for sentencing. However, on the date set therefor, the defendant, duly served by the People with a predicate felony conviction statement, challenged the…
