Defendant Burt invented an automobile joint, and the other defendants, as “informal partners” or joint adventurers, united with him in its development. Wanting eight of the planned joints made they took up the matter with the plaintiff, who operated a machine shop, and the probable expense was discussed, but not definitely fixed, and plaintiff was employed to make the joints as soon as he could, but not to the exclusion of his- other business engagements.
