Prior to his assignment for the benefit of credit ors on July 20, 1937, the defendant was the sole owner and operator of- the Peek Motor .Sales Company at Storm Lake, Iowa, engaged in selling Oldsmobile automobiles. This had been his business for several years. He maintained a branch at Spencer, and one at Milford. -There were 14 counties in his territory, and he did quite a large volume of business, with the help of an office force of four or five and three or four salesmen.
