For the second time in this defamation action, the plaintiff, Paula Kevorkian (Kevorkian or plaintiff), appeals from the Superior Court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of the defendant, Judith Glass (Glass or defendant). 1 In Kevorkian v. Glass, 774 A.2d 22 (R.I.2001) (Kevorkian I), this Court reversed the judgment of the Superior Court on the grounds that the motion justice erred when he granted summary judgment to the defendant without giving Kevorkian the ten days required by Rule 56 of the Superior Court Rules of Civil Procedure to prepare and…
