Linda Evon Dedonato, a waitress at the Cascades Club, was convicted in county criminal court for serving drinks at a club that did not have a sexually oriented business permit. The State offered the testimony of Officer Shields to prove that the Cascades Club was a sexually oriented business operating without a license. From his testimony, it appears Officer Shields had a copy of the ordinance in his hand while he was on the stand.
