LOKEN, Circuit Judge.

After police officers seized drug manufacturing equipment and a firearm from his rented quarters, Timothy Michael Walsh was indicted for attempting to manufacture methamphetamine and for being a felon in possession of a firearm. The district court 1 denied his suppression motion, and Walsh entered a conditional guilty plea to the firearm count.
