Dr. Hugh L. Preas, the appellee, brought this suit against his wife, Louise Lamb Preas, the appellant, on the 25th day of January, 1933, in the Garland Chancery Court. The complaint alleged grounds for divorce, to which the proof was directed, that his wife, immediately after marriage, “began a course of cruel and barbarous treatment towards him and continued such treatment, and offered such indignities to his person, as to render his condition intolerable, and that he, as a result thereof, was no longer able to live with her; * * * that she treated him with unmerited reproach, rudeness,…
