HOUGH, District Judge.

Complainant (hereinafter called ‘'Gill Company”) has dong conducted a photo-engraving business; i. e., from a photograph or drawing it produces a plate from- which a picture or pattern can be printed. The principal use of such engravings is to *113adorn the pages of books, magazines, and the like. It follows that, when complainant’s work is finished, it is not useful, or at any rate not ordinarily used, except in conjunction with the services of printers, electrotypers, bookbinders, etc. The united efforts of all these tradesmen produce the completed volume, toward which…
