It appears from the certificate of the clerk of Allegany county, dated and acknowledged July 5,1850, that' on the first day of July, 1850, the last day of the fifteen months from the time of sale by the sheriff, Sally Chase, by her agent, appeared at the clerk’s office of the county, the same being the office of the sheriff of the county, and presented papers for the purpose of redeeming the premises sold by the "sheriff to the plaintiff.
