In a juvenile delinquency proceeding pursuant to Family Court Act article 3 the presentment agency (petitioner) seeks a pretrial ruling, limiting the cross-examination of an eyewitness.

*533The respondent is accused of acts which if committed by an adult would constitute the crimes of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal facilitation in the fourth degree.
