The defendant, Dennis M. Morrissey, stands charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor and being a disorderly person. On the defendant’s motion, the District Court judge suppressed all evidence obtained as a result of the stop and detention of the defendant, because the stop was conducted by a police officer acting outside his territorial jurisdiction.
