DONIELSON, Presiding Judge.

The plaintiff appeals from the trial court’s judgment awarding him limited damages for injuries sustained after he fell over an ashtray canister in the defendant’s supermarket. The plaintiff claims that the trial court erred in failing to grant the plaintiff a directed verdict, asserting that there was insufficient evidence regarding his comparative negligence and that the trial court erred in submitting instructions on plaintiff's contributory negligence and refusing to submit an instruction on punitive damages.
