Plaintiff José R. López-Dávila filed a complaint against the Acting Commissioner of Social Security (“Commissioner”), alleging that the Commissioner’s disability decision was not supported by substantial evidence. Docket No. 2 (“Compl.”). Plaintiff demanded judicial review of the decision so that disability insurance benefits may be allowed and paid, or in the alternative that the court remand the case for a hearing. Id. at 2.
