SELYA, Circuit Judge.

Plaintiff-appellant Helga Valentin, also known as Helga Valentín de Jesús, invites us to reverse an order of the district court dismissing her medical malpractice suit for lack of subject-matter jurisdiction. Bound by a relatively restrictive standard of review, we decline her invitation.
