Foard County v. Sandifer
Texas Supreme Court
Error to the Court of Civil Appeals, Second District, in an appeal from Foard County. Sandifer sued Foard County and appealed from a judgment for defendant. This being reversed and the cause remanded, the county-obtained writ of error on the ground that the rulings on appeal settled the case.

This suit was instituted in the District Court to recover of said county reasonable compensation for selling the school lands of said county under this contract:
