The relator, the chairman of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee of the State Bar, asserting authority “to bring this proceeding for and on behalf of the State Bar and the members thereof and for and on behalf of the people of the State of South Dakota,” prayed for an injunction restraining the defendant, a layman, from practicing law and for an adjudication that described conduct of defendant constituted contempt of court.
