The questions raised and discussed thoroughly and learnedly were (1) whether the interest given to or for the benefit of Helen Savery Taylor, was for life, with remainder to his other children at her death, or an absolute estate, and (2) whether the trust which he attempted to make respecting the interest given to or for her benefit was valid within the established rules of law applicable to such cases.
