This was an action for damages for injuries sustained by an eight-year-old boy when he was hit by a truck. Plaintiff prevailed and the defendants appeal.

The accident took place on the afternoon of January 23, 1937, on Second street between St. Francis and Emporia avenues, in Wichita. A snow had fallen a day or two before and had been scraped into the center of the street, making a ridge several feet wide at the base and one or two feet high.
