CHAPMAN, Circuit Judge:

Plaintiff and defendants appeal various rulings made by the district court during the trial of this action for defamation, invasion of privacy, interference with a business, conspiracy and violation of Title III of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, 18 U.S.C. §§ 2510 et seq. (1976 and Supp.1979). The district judge held that all but two of appellant’s causes of action were barred by the applicable statutes of limitation and the jury returned a verdict for defendants on the remaining claims.
