—In an action to recover damages for medical malpractice, etc., the plaintiffs appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (O’Connell, J.), entered June 19, 2000, which, after a hearing, granted the motion of the defendant Paul Karafiol to dismiss the complaint insofar as asserted against him for lack of personal jurisdiction.

Ordered that the order is reversed, on the law, with costs, the motion is denied, and the complaint reinstated insofar as asserted against the respondent.
