OPINION

MASSEY, Chief Justice.

This is an appeal from an award changing child custody. The father received managing conservatorship of his four-year-old son, which earlier in the original divorce decree had been reposited in the mother.

We affirm.

Sheila Karon Horton and John Daniel Horton, parents of Joe Daniel Horton, were divorced on May 27, 1977. By the decree, custody of their minor child was awarded to the mother; the father was made possesso-ry conservator and was given visitation privileges and responsibility to make child support payments.
