BARRY, Circuit Judge.

David Mackins appeals his sentence of 360 months for conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. He raises several issues regarding that sentence, only one of which need deter us long. That issue, simply *265stated, is this: does a prior sentence imposed as the result of an Alford plea qualify as a “prior sentence” under U.S.S.G. § 4A1.2(a)(l) for purposes of computing a defendant’s criminal history category under § 4A1.1?
