OPINION AND ORDER

CONNER, District Judge:

Defendant Reader’s Digest Association, Inc. (“Reader’s Digest”) has moved for summary judgment against plaintiff Arthur L. Seymore (“Seymore”) in this employment discrimination and breach of contract action. Defendant has further moved to dismiss plaintiff’s claim under 42 U.S.C. § 1981 as untimely, and to strike plaintiff’s demands for a jury trial and for compensatory and punitive damages.
