Plaintiff brought an action for divorce against defendant, charging him with cruel and inhuman treatment. She demanded judg ment for an absolute divorce, distribution of property, suit money, attorney’s fees, and costs. The summons and complaint were served on defendant personally on January 9,1951, in Los Angeles county, California.
