The defendant, Pedro Custodio, appeals from the judgment of the trial court committing him to the custody of the commissioner of mental health and addiction services (commissioner) and requiring him to submit to periodic competency evaluations pursuant to General Statutes (Rev. to 2009) § 54-56d (m).
