Mary Bass appeals the judgment of her convictions, after a jury trial in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, of two counts of murder in the second degree, § 565.021; 1 six counts of abuse of a child, § 568.060; and four counts of armed criminal action (ACA), § 571.015. As to her convictions on second degree murder and ACA, and two counts of abuse of a child, she was sentenced to eight consecutive life sentences.
