Appellant, Marlow J. Johnson (“Defendant”), appeals from the judgment of the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis, following a jury trial, finding him guilty of three counts of assault of a law enforcement officer in the first degree, section 565.081, RSMo 2000,1 three counts of armed criminal action, section 571.015, and one count of tampering in the first degree, section 569.080.
