Plaintiff Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) brought four related actions, 1 each alleging that one or more of defendants Gerald R. Van Diver, Lawrence E. Shinnick, Micro-Information Publishing, Inc. (MIP) and Software Strategies, Inc. (SSI) had defaulted on certain notes and other obligations acquired by the FDIC after the failure of the First National Bank of Prior Lake (the “Bank”).
