OPINION
QUIST, District Judge.
Plaintiff, Sherri J. Gradisher (“Gradisher”), sued Defendant, Check Enforcement Unit, Inc. (“CEU”), on behalf of herself and a proposed class alleging, that CEU violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”), 15 U.S.C. §§ 1692-1692o, and its Michigan counterpart, the Michigan Collection Practices Act, M.C.L. §§ 339.901-.920 and M.C.L. §§ 445.251-.258. By Order dated August 21, 2001, the court certified a class. The court clarified the class membership by separate Order dated January 25, 2002.
