BOWES, J.:

Michael Markowitz appeals from the order denying his first PCRA petition, which was filed in 1994. We affirm.

Appellant pled guilty to robbery and criminal homicide on March 6, 1981, as well as numerous other crimes not relevant herein. The murder and robbery charge stemmed from a shooting that occurred during an armed robbery of a pharmacy in Hampton Township, Allegheny County.
