Plaintiffs, respondents herein, bring an action for personal injuries suffered by plaintiff husband, who will be referred to as the plaintiff. At the time of the accident, plaintiff was a truck driver for Lloyd Vareo, doing business as Vareo Truck Lines, who was engaged exclusively in hauling cull apples for Tree Top, Inc., a fruit processor operating a large juicing plant near Selah.
