In this prosecution for promoting gambling in the first degree (Penal Law § 225.10), the court is called upon to determine standing to challenge as well as the propriety of the deployment of pen registers1 to gather evidence against Gary Medure, Vincent Ciardello, John Carlatone and Linda Russotti, named herein as defendants.
