Appellant, Michael A. Freedman, claimed that appellee, the group of corporate entities known and commonly referred to as “Comcast,” violated the 1997 Maryland Wiretapping and Electronic Surveillance Act, Md.Code (1974, 2006 Repl.Vol.), § 10-402 et seq. of the Courts and Judicial Proceedings Article (“CJ”). Appellant filed suit in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City and the parties filed several initial pleadings.
