The Plaintiff, Kathleen O’Grady (“Ms. O’Grady”), initially brought this personal injury action against the Defendant (“British Airways”) in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. (See Compl.) On February 28, 2000, British Airways had the action properly removed to federal court in accordance with the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to International Transportation by Air, October 12, 1929 (“Warsaw Convention”). 1 {See Notice of Removal.)
