In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendant appeals from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (G. Aronin, J.), entered August 2, 1993, which, upon a jury verdict, is in favor of the plaintiff and against it in the principal sum of $200,000, and the plaintiff cross-appeals from the same judgment on the ground of inadequacy.

Ordered that the cross appeal is dismissed, for failure to perfect the same in accordance with the rules of this Court (see, 22 NYCRR 670.8 [c], [e]); and it is further,
