On June 10, 1905, the parties to this action executed the following written contract: “For and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to me in hand paid, I hereby give Willis Cadwell, of Broken Bow, the right to sell my farm, to wit, the west half of the northwest quarter and the southwest quarter of section fifteen, and the north half of the northwest quarter of section twenty-two, all in township seventeen north, range nineteen west 6th P. M., Custer county, Nebraska, for the sum of five thousand dollars, net, to me, as follows, to wit: One hundred dollars in hand…
