—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Dabiri, J.), rendered November 17, 1997, convicting *514him of criminal contempt in the first degree, criminal contempt in the second degree (six counts), criminal mischief in the fourth degree (three counts), assault in the third degree, and harassment in the second degree (eight counts), upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Viewing the evidence in the light most favorable to the prosecution (see, People v Contes, 60 NY2d 620), we find that the evidence of “substantial pain,”…
