Graves v. Heckler
District Court, District of Columbia
1Opinion of the Court
MEMORANDUM
HAROLD H. GREENE, District Judge.
This is a social security case in which the Court must determine whether the decision of the Secretary to deny plaintiffs claim of disability benefits is supported by substantial evidence. See 42 U.S.C. § 405(g); Richardson v. Perales, 402 U.S. 389, 91 S.Ct. 1420, 28 L.Ed.2d 842 (1971). 1 The Secretary’s decision in this case that plaintiff is not so mentally impaired as to prevent him from engaging in work-related activities is plainly not supported by substantial evidence.
