In this case plaintiffs sne for damages for negligent delay in the shipment of forty-eight head of grassfed cattle from "Wood Lake, Ne*246braska, by way of South Omaha and St. Joseph to Kansas City, Missouri. Plaintiffs obtained judgment and the defendant has appealed. .

It is contended that no negligent delay was shown and further more that even if there was, it was not the proximate cause of the damage.
