MEMORANDUM OPINION and ORDER

McBRYDE, District Judge.

By order signed July 23, 1993, United States of America and defendant GRANT TYLER OTTESEN (“Ottesen”) each was directed to file a legal memorandum discussing all authorities the party could find on the subject of whether a transfer under Fed. R.Crim.P. 20 would be permissible and appropriate as to Ottesen under the circumstances of this case.
