On May 9, 1943, Clyde Doc Estes was injured by accident arising out of and in the course of his employment by the Walgreen Drug Company at Prescott, Arizona. On December 1, 1944, an award was made in his favor for temporary total disability in the sum of $2,007.75, all of which has been paid, together with an additional award for permanent partial disability for injury scheduled under Sec. 56-957(b), subsections 15 and 21, equal to 55% loss of function of the left leg, in the amount of $93.75 monthly for a period of 27% months, the first payment to be made on December 28,1944.
