Plaintiffs, Life Care Centers of America, Inc., and American Lifestyles, Inc., (collec tively, Life Care) appeal the judgment entered on a jury verdict awarding $6 million to East Hampden Associates Limited Partnership (East Hampden) on its breach of fiduciary duties counterclaim, $2 million on its breach of contract counterclaim, $6 million in punitive damages, and the trial court’s award of more than $2.1 million in prejudgment interest to East Hampden. Life Care also appeals the jury’s rejection of its breach of contract claim against East Hampden, Cheyenne Associates…
