*489We reject defendant’s contention that the court failed to properly analyze the officers’ testimony at the suppression hearing. The evidence at trial was sufficient (People v Malizia, 62 NY2d 755, cert denied 469 US 932), and, upon our independent review of the facts, the verdict was not against the weight of the evidence (People v Bleakley, 69 NY2d 490). It was not necessary for the witness who saw defendant and his accomplice disappear beyond the front doorway of the apartment they were convicted of burglarizing to have actually seen them open the door and enter.
