I.Introduction

Four of the five defendants in this case have moved to dismiss the claims against them. The City of Abbeville and Officer John Duhaime filed the first Motion to Dismiss (Doc. # 12), followed by similar Motions to Dismiss filed by Henry Count, Alabama (Doc. # 16), and Sheriff William Maddox (Doc. # 18). In response, Galloway’s lawyer filed a brief contesting the defendants’ motions that largely failed to address the arguments made by defense counsel.
