In these separate proceedings the general guardian of two infants seeks authority to expend funds of the infants for their support and maintenance and to reimburse the Commissioner of Welfare for their support for 17 months prior to the guardian’s appointment. The infants’ estates consist entirely of the proceeds of an award made September 28, 1960 by the Veterans’ Administration as compensation for disability of the infants ’ veteran father, which in each case amounted at the time of the filing of the petition to $1,486.74. Letters of guardianship issued August 5, 1960.…
