The record brought up by this writ of error discloses an indictment against defendant found at the October Term, 1898, containing several counts. Each count charged him with the sale of one gallon of various specified spirituous, vinous, malt and brewed liquors without license for that purpose, between January 1st, 1898, and the day of the finding of the indictment.
