STROUD, Judge.
Defendant appeals from an order requiring him to enroll in satellite-based monitoring (SBM) pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-208.40B for the remainder of his natural life. Because the plain language of N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-208.40(a)(l), N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-208B(c) and N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-208.6(la) requires enrollment in lifetime satellite-based monitoring for an offender who is convicted of an “aggravated offense,” we reverse.
