This action has been brought as a diversity action under 28 U.S.C. § 1332. Plaintiff Calabrian Co., Inc. (“Calabrian”) is a New York commodities trading corporation registered in Thailand since *831964. Defendant Bangkok Bank, Ltd. (“the Bank”) is a banking corporation organized and operating throughout Asia under the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, with its headquarters in the city of Bangkok.
