A complaint was filed in the justice court of Los Angeles township containing four counts, each charging the defendant with the commission of the crime of grand larceny. A preliminary examination of said defendant was held upon said complaint and the committing magistrate, on July 9, 1924, issued a commitment, holding the defendant for trial in the superior court upon two charges of grand larceny set out in the first and second counts, respectively, of said complaint.
